Konami
History
Konami's games were first published in the UK by Ocean Software who initially bought the Imagine name and logo as a dedicated label for their Konami ports. The deal ended in 1986 and Konami set up their own UK subsiduary to convert and release their games themselves, but titles like Nemesis and Jail Break were poorly received. Konami soon returned to Ocean who re-released Salamander, making it their only full price re-release.
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles was the Christmas number one for 1990 and the biggest UK hit for both Konami and publisher Mirrorsoft.
