Datasoft
History
Founded in 1980 by Patrick Ketchum, Datasoft's early hits like Zaxxon and Bruce Lee were initially only available as import titles before US Gold became their exclusive licensor. Ketchum was ousted from his position by the management of the company and Gilette, who were a major investor, and moved to Sullivan Bluth (Dragon's Lair) and set up publisher Cyberdreams in 1990. Datasoft was renamed Intellicreations and was eventually acquired by Software Toolworks in 1989.
