MELBOURNE HOUSE
Melbourne House was the UK based publisher of Australian development studio Beam Software and responsible for two of the biggest chart hits of the decade, The Way of the Exploding Fist and The Hobbit. They also the created the three Horace games that were published on the ZX Spectrum by Sinclair.
In 1987, the publisher was sold to Mastertronic, who themselves were soon taken over by Virgin.
