Silverbird
History
Silverbird was launched in 1988 as Telecomsoft's dedicated budget label leaving Firebird to publish full-price titles exclusively. Bubble Bobble would undoubtably have been the biggest Silverbird release but the label was abruptly shut down when MicroProse aquired the Telecomsoft brands in 1989. Instead, the game ended up being the best performing title on Ocean's budget range, The Hit Squad.
