CREATIVE SPARKS DISTRIBUTION
Creative Sparks Distribution was created in 1985 from a management buy-out of the software and distribution parts of Thorn EMI. They continued using the Sparklers budget range, returning Submarine Commander to the charts for a third time after two full-price releases under the Thorn EMI and Creative Sparks branding. In December 1986 they bought Mikro-Gen and went into receivership months later reportedly owing £750,000.
