Micromega
History
Like Durell, Micromega was a company involved in business software that took a temporary diversion into the early computer games industry. In 1983, they became the first company to advertise their games on television but it took until the end of the year until they had their first hit with the iconic Deathchase. Micromega's best chart performance came with the original Spectrum version of Full Throttle which was their only number one game. The same game had three more releases that hit a Top 10 chart - the 2.99 Classics re-release from Elite Systems, as well as the Commodore version released under the title Speed King by Digital Integration and Mastertronic.
