Audiogenic
History
Originally created as recording studio in Reading by Martin Maynard, Audiogenic became involved in computer software in 1978 after moving into data duplication. The label came under the control of Supersoft in the mid-1980's with Maynard leaving to establish the Top Ten budget label. Audiogenic's biggest hit was Emlyn Hughes International Soccer. Unluckily, it was released around the same time as RoboCop, which prevented it getting higher than number two in the charts. It's the best performing chart hit to have never reached number one.
