Grandslam

History

Grandslam was created in late 1987 through a management buy-out of Argus Press. Pac-Land marked the final use of the the Quicksilva label, but they continued using Bug-Byte for budget releases, rebranding it as "Bug-Byte Premier" in 1989 when they increased the price to £2.99.

The first incarnation of Grandslam, "Grandslam Entertainment", went into receivership in July 1990 but the company re-emerged in April 1991 as "Grandslam Video".
